German Westerwald Salt-Glazed Crock
This salt-glazed stoneware comes from the Westerwald region in Germany that has been making salt glaze stoneware for more than 400 years. This stoneware pot was handmade in the typical style of gray pottery with cobalt blue floral designs. These kind of dishes were originally used for storing and  preserving food for the winter.
