Japanese Blue and White Fish Bowl Jardiniere - Carp
A gorgeous fish bowl-shaped jardiniere from the Meiji-Taisho Period (the early 1900s). This cache pot features a bulbous body, short neck, and wide flat lip. It's beautifully decorated with grey carp and blue and white iris flower paintings. It has a plain white neck but there is a lovely repeat pattern motif on the lip.
