Salt-Glazed Stoneware Crock
This pot is made of ceramic material with a layer of salt glaze. This colourless layer of glaze makes the pot waterproof to store and preserve food for the winter. The stoneware crock is decorated with notched bands on the upper and lower side and a number 2 inside a circle, presumably indicating its capacity of two liters.
