Terracotta Chinese Wine Jar
Old Chinese jar in brown glaze with relief rib lines as decorative pattern. It was used for fermenting and storing wine and spirits made from rice and grains. The jar has wonderful organic color, form, and balance. There is small chip on the lip and minor signs of wear commensurate with age.
